The Moro River Campaign
In December 1943 Montgomery's 8th Army reached the Moro river as it advanced up the eastern half of Italy. There the 1st Canadian Infantry Division faced stiff resistance from the 90. Panzergrenadier and 1st Fallshirmjager Division as it crossed the Moro and moved onto Ortona. Here, I've collected all of the posts relating to my project to recreate these battles in 15mm miniatures using the Flames of War rule set.
